Experiencing Van Life: A Winter Road Trip To Wales

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of van life – the freedom to set up base anywhere, stay as long as you like, and hit the road again without the hassle of packing a suitcase. One day, I hope to buy a van of my own, but for now, I got to experience this nomadic lifestyle thanks to my wonderful friend, Corinna.

When Corinna invited me on a winter road trip to Wales in January 2021, I couldn’t resist the opportunity – even though it was the middle of winter! Of course, I brought my camera (my, at the time, brand new Sony A7iii) along to capture the adventure.

Here are some of the stunning photos we took during our road trip through the Brecon Beacons – both in the van and exploring the beautiful outdoors. And yes, that included an art nude shoot in the drizzle (forever thankful for my hardcore friends who’ll willingly get butt naked in the freezing cold)!
